In this entry i just wanna share my view and opinions in relation to enactus...
before i explained about it a little more further... better for me to brief a little on what is enactus all about. Basically enactus is like a club, but it is not like the common club attended by the students in our university which only circulates among the students. In enactus we have to do projects that can help the community to earn something especially in these three substantial criterion which are economic, social and environment. We have to contribute to the real community whose in need in the outside.
In this club we will be trained and sharpen our skill in entrepreneurship. We used our skills and our knowledge to help the community by creating an opportunity and outlined the guidelines especially in business to improve their standard of living.

Now it has been almost two years since I've joined Enactus which before was known as SIFE. At UTeM we are still new thus, we had to face so many obstacles before it happens to be where we we are right now. At first, we actually begins only from the few of us and the club is still not established in our university. However, with the assiduous attempts from the team members to go higher and be assisted by our very supportive adviser today, Enactus is a legal club and have many active and super-excellent members.
For me, at the beginning, the most challenging part to be in this club is due to the different background of course among us as I'm an engineering student and most of them at that time are from management students so maybe there have several differentiation in the way we socialize our self and the way we communicate.In addition I also don't have many knowledge concerning on business and entrepreneurship, but this is not a serious problem and its easy to be handled by always reminding myself that "All we need to do is just learned".
The important part to be in this club is to compete in the national exposition (Enactus Malaysia National Exposition/EMNE). Most of IPTA and IPTS in Malaysia participate in this competition. where we have to present all our project that have done throughout the year and the judges for this competition came from the corporate sector. Many leader from the media prima, maybank, kpmg, microsoft and several other sectors in the corporate sector also involve in this event and they will extremely inspired you a lot! .
In every goods, it has its own flaws. Basically Enactus is an event that is created by the non-muslims, so some of the event that held during the exposition might have oppose the religious obligation so, we as a Muslims have some boundaries in socializing with others. As an example we can't shake hand with different gender plus not too exposed our self by just being moderate as its the best things for us as a Muslim. Yes we can do business but we have to be firmed and protect our dignity. We can be an entrepreneur more better than others with the title hold as a Muslim people.
Overall, I can say there is a huge opportunities that we can grab here by involving ourselves in such an interesting and beneficial activities like this , but it's just depending on our self what we wish for by attending and involving with it. If we want to gain experienced and knowledge InsyaAllah we will get it and remember, all the things that we do must be always in the track we do as a Muslim people.
